| WPD charges the program fee in order to cover the expenses associated with providing a world-class enjoyable volunteer experience. We also use part of the money to support poor communities in the volunteering projects. Program fee. The deposit of US$75 during registration will be a part payment of your program fee. This $75 is not refundable under any circumstance. In the event of a cancellation, if the cancellation is effective more than 60 days before the scheduled start date, the program fee paid, less the deposit will be refunded if eligible upon request. In the event of a cancellation, if the cancellation is effective between 30 and 60 days before scheduled start date, 50% of the program fee paid, less the deposit will be refunded if eligible upon request. In the event of a cancellation, if the cancellation is effective is 30 days or less prior to the scheduled start date, 25% of the program fee paid, less the deposit, will be refunded if eligible upon request. There will be no refunds will be given for any unused portions of the program or because of registered volunteer failure or inability to participate in the WPD program. There will be no portion of the program fee is refundable if the cancellation is received on or after the scheduled start date. WPD reserves the right, in its own discretion, to reject any individual at any time before start date, or to cancel the applicants program. If an applicant has been rejected, or his/her program cancelled, the total amount paid to WPD will be refunded, unless the cancellation is based on non-payment by the agreed upon due date. Apart from such refund, WPD will not be responsible to applicant for any other refund, costs, interest, liability or damages of any kind. Volunteer applicant is solely responsible for any air ticket or other travel fees, any charges, other expenses or penalties, that might result from any cancellation or change in applicant's program, whether applicant cancels the program or it is cancelled or altered by WPD. WPD will not make exceptions to this cancellation policy for any reason, including medical situations. WPD strongly urges applicants to purchase travel insurance with trip cancellation benefits. |
