For the past years, World Partners for Development
partnership projects has transformed lives in many rural
communities in Ghana.
HIV/AIDS Education in Schools & Communities
Formed volunteer peer education clubs in 50 selected first and
second cycle schools to spread the awareness and education
message about HIV/AIDS in their schools to their peers.
Featured real life HIV/AIDS video documentaries in schools.
Children in visited schools confirmed this program as the most
important tool to reduce the transmission of HIV virus in
resource poor communities.
Community Empowerment
Implemented gari processing as an income generating project,
and environmental programs in the Eastern Region area of
Ghana.
Materials Donation
Distributed donated educational materials to schools.
Programs with International Organizations
World Partners for Development is also well known by many
great international nonprofit organizations in their program
implementations in Ghana. WPD provided a partnership
assistance in community animation and field community data
collection for the following international nonprofit organizations:

developmental projects in Western Region of Ghana. - Springboard Research of Singapore on their ICT Project
Survey in Ghana. - Country information gathering for Discovery Channel
Global Education Partnership program in Ghana. - "Action Contrela Faim" seconded to the WFP Logistics
cluster in Rome. Assessment to prepare an efficient
response on Ghana's 2007 flood which displaced people
totalling about 260,873. - Rural community voluntarily projects with Volunteers for
International Development.
