Welcome to WPD
World Partners for Development (WPD) is a dedicated international nonprofit organization working with other organizations, businesses, and individuals worldwide to integrate their commitment to long lasting sustainable human development,in the areas of education, health, enterprise, technology, and global exchange programs. With our friendly education and exchange programs, we offer organizations, schools, businesses, and individuals around the world an easy and simple engaging ways to learn about global issues.

As young people are finding it very difficult to get jobs in their own rural communities, World Partners for Development is working in a collaborative program with a U.S. based nonprofit organization, Making Cents International, to help the youth in Ghana grow through new ideas that create economic opportunities for their lives. The purpose of this entrepreneurship education is to prepare the youth to be active, self-sufficient, and productive citizens who can contribute to their community's social and economic development. As part of this program, a youth leader is being sponsored from Ghana to attend the 2009 Global Youth Conference in Washington,DC, to be equipped as training of trainer (TOT) for other youth enterprise programs in Ghana.
