World Technical Volunteers (WTV) is a 501(c)(3) public charity incorporated in Virginia, USA  by a
group of skilled professionals who has passion for poor communities. Our group developed
such passion after our real life field work experience in most poorest and remote areas around
the world. We focus on unserved poor communities who currently lack projects related to our
program areas.
Our volunteer groups work through local partner organizations, community volunteer groups or
local committees to directly implement programs or projects. These community groups  are
empowered with volunteer spirit and training  to undertake the direct day to day management of
programs or projects so that they will be able to help themselves and their communities in
times of needs. World Technical Volunteers in return offer material/ financial support, voluntary
support, training, technical assistance, and institutional development.

World Technical Volunteers has defined the following priority areas for intervention:

  • HIV/AID prevention and awareness education incorporated
  with school programs.

People First - People and their communities are the focal point of  WTV services. It based on
what matters most to the people group we serve. We respect their rights, supports their own
efforts to improve their quality of lives.

Partnership Development -  WTV brings together diverse groups to achieve common
goals that advance sustainable development. As people in poor communities always work hard
to find their own solutions to poverty due to lack of resources. WTV can help them get access to
information, knowledge and options to identify their  priorities and choose how to deal with them.

WTV aim to strengthening local indigenous non-governmental organizations (NGOs), networks,
and intermediate service organizations (ISOs) become more efficient and effective in delivering
developmental services in their communities.

communities in need and creates opportunities for people to experience the joy of serving
others.
