Please, we require that you read our policies. By Applying to
participate in WPD programs, you have read and understand
the terms and conditions as apply to our programs.

Applicants must be 18yrs or older to participate.  

Travel insurance and medical coverage is not included in the
program cost. These are the responsibility of the volunteer.

WPD and its partners are not responsible for loss of property,
personal injury, illness, accident, death, emotional trauma
delay or expense sustained by the volunteer while taking part
in our service programs.

WPD and its partners are not responsible for any financial
obligations or liabilities the participant may incur including
damages to property, or injury to others while participating on
our program.

WPD is not responsible for the cost of extra activities (touring,
language lessons, etc) incurred during volunteering. Daily
transportation costs are the volunteer's responsibility for any
personal activities. WPD will use affordable  transportation for
travels involving our projects.

The volunteer agree not to sue World Partners for
Development and its Host because of the negligence of WPD
or its Host, or the negligence or intentional acts of someone
else, volunteer or its estate will reimburse WPD for all
judgement and cost, and also attorney fees.

Volunteers agree to abide by the rules and  laws of Ghana, the
policies of the community in which they volunteer, and/or the
rules of the host family, failure to do so will result in the
termination of your program and forfeiture of all program fees.

A deposit of $75 fee which is part of your program cost is
required with your application. Program costs paid in US
dollars or Euro only. We begin the confirmation process once
the deposit is received. Program fee should be paid in full
before final departure. Volunteers agree that no part of the
program fee is refundable once the program has commenced.

All cancellations must be received in writing. Refunds only
applies to:
1. Vacancies filled out at the time of application.
2. Applicants application rejected for special reasons.
3. Service Program did not come on.
The activities outlined below are strictly who
violates this Code is subject to who violates
this Code is subject to discipline,up to and
including removal from program.

Abusive language towards a staff member
or Volunteer.

Possession or use of alcoholic beverage or
illegal drugs on WPD property or working  
under influence of drugs or alcohol.

Bringing onto WPD property dangerous or
unauthorized  materials such as explosives,
firearms, weapons or other similar items.

Discourtesy or rudeness to fellow
participant, staff member , volunteer, or
citizens.

Verbal, physical or visual harassment of
another staff member, volunteer, or citizens.

Actual or threatened violence toward any
staff or volunteer.

Conduct endangering the life,safety,health
or well-being of others.

Failure to follow any WPD policy or
procedure.

Bullying or taking unfair advantage of any
volunteer.

Failing to cooperate with a
supervisor/leader or mentor.

All donations, gifts and support to program,
should channeled through WPD.
