World Partners for Development
Serving The World's Underserved

WPD is rehabilitating this building to be used as a school
library in Amamorley, Ghana. Books and furniture will donated
to the school for the library set up.
Similar project is being implemented in Pokoase, Ghana and
other rural underserved communities.
Most school children in remote rural communities without electric light
find it difficult to compete with their pears that can read more than
three hours per night because of the availability of electricity. This
proof is very obvious in many countries national examination results
statistics. Many rural school children end up being street children with
no career skills. WPD and its partners are donating solar lanterns to
such school children to boost their night studies and examination
preparation. Our target this year is one thousand lanterns donation
with a cost of about $20,000.
